Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are reportedly "over," according to a new report from the New York Post. 

Multiple sources allegedly told the Post's Page Six that Cyrus and Hemsworth have split. “Miley and Liam are done; it’s over," the source said. "She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him.”

People magazine reported that Hemsworth headed Down Under to "have a break" from Cyrus. "It doesn't mean that they have split. Miley says they are still together," a source said. "Liam did fly home [to Australia on March 1] so they could have a break." 

Talk of a Cyrus-Hemsworth split began floating around after the former "Hannah Montana" star was spotted without her engagement ring. Although she insisted that her romance is fine, Cyrus is allegedly angry over rumors Hemsworth cheated on her with January Jones at a pre-Oscars party.

That's just a couple thousand dollars shy of what the average homebuyer spends on a downpayment today ($31,000 by Trulia's estimate).

"In 2011, budgets increased for the first time since the economic downturn, and this past year, in 2012, we saw that wedding budgets are continuing to rise even more and to an all-time high since 2008," said Carley Roney, cofounder of The Knot. 

It's not the bridal gown that had couples tipping their budgets either. Brides dropped just $1,200 on their wedding dress last year, only about $100 more than the year prior. 

They spent twice that much on the reception band alone. 

Blame the venue. Getting engaged is meant to be one of the most exciting times of a woman's life but for many it heralds the start of a desperate diet so they can look slim on their big day. 

Health and fitness expert Joanna Ebsworth was alarmed by the number of brides-to-be she met through her work who are going to drastic measures to be thinner.

At 17, Kalash is young, shy and more than a little disappointed that her recent wedding — a day she dreamed of as a girl — took place in a crowded and squalid refugee camp in northern Jordan, far from her home in the Syrian village of Ma'arbeh. 

"Getting married as a refugee is not really what every girl dreams of but that is my life right now," says Kalash bitterly, tucking stray hairs underneath a loosely fitting hijab. 

On Wednesday, the United Nations said the number of Syrian refugees hit 1 million, and the Syrians in border camps who are waiting out the fighting in their country are increasingly forced to make hard choices to support their families as the conflict lasts longer than many anticipated. 
Young Syrian women are agreeing to marry to ease the financial burden on their parents of caring for them, say humanitarian groups here. And some families are striking deals in which suitors pay for the privilege of marrying a daughter. 

"The young girls are starting to see themselves as burdens on their families and are agreeing to marry because of economic pressures," says Dakota Hankin, who oversees the International Rescue Committee's (IRC) programs for Syrian women and girls in northern Jordan.

Hankin explains that many refugees have described how local sheikhs say they are helping families by facilitating marriages for young Syrian girls. There have also been reports of taxi drivers offering "Syrian brides" to single men visiting the region. 

Most Syrians arrive with very little. Stories abound of families forced to sell all they had just to get safe passage out of the country. The IRC estimates that there are roughly 200,000 urban-based Syrians living across Jordan, and official figures from the Za'atari camp show that more than 100,000 live inside. Hundreds more cross the border everyday, according to official Jordanian army sources. 
Although there is food and shelter, there are other needs that cannot be met without making a purchase. And for a family to get out to a town where they can establish themselves and perhaps start again, that costs money, too. 

An IRC report shows that early marriage is a growing concern. Asma Donahue, Women's Protection and Empowerment Technical Adviser for the organization, says that often early or arranged marriages are seen as a safety mechanism for young girls in times of trouble. The IRC has said that aid providers, such as the U.S. State Department, need to think long term, funding job and skills training so girls can earn money to help their families rather than marrying men they barely know.

It's rarely a good and productive thing when Dennis Rodman is back in the news, and most of the time it's easily dismissed. Of all the things that Dennis Rodman was ever called, or called himself,Pick-up gown none of them were ever "intelligence asset." 

He is Dennis Rodman. He was one of the most fascinating and singular players in NBA history, a second-round pick from poverty whose body was an elastic wire, and who was never like anybody else because he tried to be unlike anybody else. 

The lasting image of him was this loping kid with jug ears who would hurl himself at the ball, chase it the way a puppy chases a toy. 

He played hungry, like he needed it, all the time. 
He was part of two title teams in Detroit, then started with the tattoos and the bleached blond hair in San Antonio, was moved to Chicago where he was the third-best player on the Bulls team that won a record 72 games in 1995-96 and three more championships. 

Along the way, he contemplated suicide - the famous shotgun-in-the-truck in the early morning hours outside The Palace of Auburn Hills - and chased attention, especially once his career ended. The piercings before it was ordinary, the wedding dress, the marriage to Carmen Electra, the outfits, Celebrity Apprentice, pro wrestling, rehab, Celebrity Rehab, all that. 

As Chuck Daly, Rodman's father figure and former Pistons coach once told The New York Times Magazine, "He's lost himself; he can't see where one starts and the other ends. He's convinced he has to play up to that. I know that's not him. The shy kid I met is who he is." 
But he became a broken man who had the cops show up to his door too many times for domestic assaults, DUIs, sexual assault charges, whatever was going on. 

His Hall of Fame speech included a tearful, tortured apology for not being a good enough father, a good enough husband. 

He has become the definition of the sad clown, the cautionary tale for both retired athletes but also semiretired celebrities of all stripes. Life, Dennis Rodman seemed to tell you, can grind you up. 
And then, he was used as some sort of prop to get cameras into North Korea, and he came back to tell ABC's George Stephanopoulos all about it while wearing a jacket that was made to look like it was made of dollar bills. 

"I'm not a diplomat," Rodman said. 
"He loves basketball," Rodman said. "I said Obama loves basketball.Sweetheart neckline dress Let's start there." 

"I love him. The guy is awesome. He was so honest," Rodman said. "I don't condone what he does, but as far as a person-to-person, he's my friend." 

"He said: 'I don't want to do war,' " Rodman said. "He said that to me." 
He didn't know about all the North Koreans who have starved, or the Orwellian controls on society, or the prison camps, or the nuclear tests. He was a dupe, a clown, a prop, only instead of spilling his guts to Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab he was paling around with a 29-year-old dictator who loves basketball, and doing the talk-show rounds. And the cameras were rolling either way. 

But it worked for him. NBC's Andrea Mitchell asked Secretary of State John Kerry whether "is it helpful when someone as high profile as Dennis Rodman goes to Pyongyang and calls Kim Jongun a great friend, his best friend, a nice guy - doesn't that undercut pressure from the West?" And Kerry delivered a line that some staffer had probably written for him, saying, "You know what? Dennis Rodman was a great basketball player, and as a diplomat, he was a great basketball player. And that's where we'll leave it." 
See? He was high-profile again. He was noticed. He had to be debriefed. He's a crossover star in a way he never managed before. He is being condemned on the cable networks, just like the old days.

Janice Holmes considered the piles of paperbacks and brimming bookshelves. 

Something was out of place. 
"I'm going to move Jane Austen over here - it's nice and red," she said, carrying a copy of "Pride and Prejudice." 

She set the antique book on a table by the door. 

"We had Hemingway over there, but he's not as romantic."

Outside, storm winds blew and businesses closed. The streets were empty as the two women prepared their store for the wedding party.

Pink tulips arrived. Classical music played. And the romance section was set on display Wednesday at The Annapolis Bookstore. 

"So, what do you think?" asked Holmes. 
Adams grinned. 

"Oh, it's beautiful. I'll get the champagne." 
The phone call came that morning.mandarin collar dress The couple, both book lovers, planned to marry at the courthouse, but it had closed in anticipation of the storm. 

Mark Hutson and Melanie Frances arrived with dripping coats and wet hair. 

"When I heard the courthouse was closed, my heart sank," Frances said. "I thought, I'm not getting out of bed today." 

Hutson called the bookstore. Would they allow a wedding? Of course! said Adams.Foral gown 

Hutson's 7-year-old son, Jack, wore sneakers and a new suit. His 9-year-old daughter Emma wore a dress and snow boots. 

"Oh, you look so beautiful," said Hutson's sister, Joanna Steele of Pasadena. 
The minister arrived. Mark Hutson collected quarters to feed the parking meters. 

The couple met online. Frances is a poet and novelist who works in advertising in Montreal. Hutson lives with his two children in Severna Park and works for the Discovery Channel. 

He proposed at the bookstore around Thanksgiving. He slipped inside a book a note asking, "Will you?" 

Frances bought the book with tears in her eyes. 
As the couple smiled and posed for pictures, Adams pinned - baby's breath - to Jack's suit. The scene was filmed for Frances' mother, who lives in the suburbs of Paris. 

"Everyone should experience their wedding as a historic occasion and yours is even more so as our snow forecast is extraordinary," said the Rev. Tracey Moe of Annapolis. 

Moe promised that the couple's love will grow. She asked for the ring as a mailman stepped inside, dripped on the floor, delivered a stack of letters, and stepped out. 

Frances cried and said, "I do." There was cheering. Jack wanted her to throw the bouquet, but the ceiling was too low. 

Champagne was passed, Jack and Emma sipped apple juice.Junior Bridesmaid Dresses And though there was no wedding cake, leftover Christmas cookies were offered. 

Outside, rain pooled on the sidewalks. It was cold and muddy. 

But the bookstore was warm and sweet.
