Hello Savvy Readers! Welcome to fall. This page provides lists of Best Sellers and book series to date and in any language. I am happy to see your questions back in my inbox. Please continue to email me your wedding questions and I will answer them! Remember, no topic is too hot or unimportant and of course, the names are changed to protect the innocent!

Now is the time to get your questions in for your spring events! Here are two really great questions I wanted to share with you. I think they touch on two important issues that would behoove us to address!

I am getting married next spring and my future in-laws have graciously offered to pay for the entire wedding since my parents are not in the picture. I feel very fortunate, but this has caused some problems.

They have told me to spend what I need, but won’t tell me a number. I ask them to be involved in the planning, but they say, “We trust you.”

The very first vendor I booked,Our fine Vinyl & Leather Lingerie is available for purchase in many retail outlets . they got upset because they felt it was too expensive. Raquel, I spent $5000 on a photographer and she was one of the less-expensive ones.

I am very happy they are able to provide for the wedding, but I feel completely stressed out about never knowing what is or is not acceptable, and I haven’t booked one more thing since. The wedding is now only six months away. Any advice? — Ally

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding plans! That is wonderful that your in-laws have offered to host your wedding. I can understand what a frustrating position you are in. After all, it is my job to take a budget and make recommendations on the best way to spend it.

I’ve had clients in the past who did not have a number in mind but wanted me to draw up a proposal of what I think it would cost. Upon doing so, we would talk about the assumptions I’ve made, and then come to an agreement on an amount to move forward with.

I would suggest the same for you. You and your fiancee need to sit down with your future in-laws and develop a budget. The manufacturer and wholesale supplier of Sexy Corset/Bustier, from china.

Step one is to schedule a meeting — get a date on the books. Please have your fiancee explain that you two would like to talk to them about the wedding and need their feedback on budgeting.Demetrios has one of the largest and most beautiful sweetheart neckline wedding dress show rooms in St.

Step two: Do your research. Find the vendors you would like to work with and get an approximate cost. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Most vendors, if you called them on the phone and told them what you were doing, would give you a cost estimate over the phone (please don’t expect anyone to hold it without a contract — you are just going for ballpark).

Step three: Write it all down and take it to your meeting with your in-laws. Be prepared for feedback! Please be open to what your in-laws have to say so they’ll be open and responsive to you and your fiancee. It will be a hard conversation (talking about money normally is) but it will be fruitful in the end if you all get your feelings out in the open.

Ally, I’m guessing that most likely your in-laws have no idea you even feel this way. I don’t think they’ve set out to make your life difficult, rather, they think they’re doing you a favor by staying out of your way and trusting you. What they may not know is that it’s stressful for you to spend a budget you don’t have any idea about.

I know it may not be easy, but setting a clear road map now will alleviate any more sticky situations in the future.

I know you can do it, Ally. Good luck!

I am a bridesmaid to a bride that has completely gone insane. She emails “the team” about 10 times a month, and her wedding is in 2013! Raquel, I’ve had it.

I swallowed my feelings when she picked a $300 bridesmaid dress in lime green (who is going to EVER wear THAT again?), and did not complain about the $400 hotel room for the weekend. I also have not whined about the bridal shower (which is 45 minutes from my house) and bachelorette weekend (another $400-$500) that I am expected to attend. Now I find out I have to take off work on Friday before the wedding as the rehearsal is at 1:30 p.m.! How do I tell her I want out of this obligation? — Beth

Whew! I can feel your anxiety through the computer! First of all — deep breath. God gave us free will, and you most certainly can do as you please.

You are not a slave to anyone and should you wish to bow out of your commitment, by all means, do so. I hate to see anyone upset by wedding planning — it should be a joyous time!

Beth, these sound like normal expectations for a bridesmaid.

The 10 emails might be a bit dramatic — but she is your friend or a loved one, that is why you agreed to stand up for her in her wedding.

She is excited, and unless the emails are requiring more action of you, I would share in her excitement. Why not? She’s making a life-long commitment!

I do think most people understand that when they accept the invitation to be a bridesmaid, they will have to purchase a dress and attend the auxiliary events you mentioned. Additionally, if the wedding was out of town, a hotel room would not be out of sorts.

What Will Jessica Biel Wear to Marry Justin Timberlake This Weekend? Plus Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie and More Celebrity Wedding Dress Predictions

As Jessica Biel gears up to tie the knot with Justin Timberlake in Italy this weekend, our big question is: What will she wear?

The timing of Biel's nuptials couldn't be more perfect for finding “the one” — aka her wedding dress (more on it shortly): Hollywood's most in-demand wedding dress designers — including Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier and Marchesa — just revealed their newest wedding dress collections on the Bridal Market runways in New York this week.

There were tons of gorgeous gowns on the fashion runways (check them out here!) — some that seemed destined for our favorite famous brides-to-be, including Biel, as well as Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston,Justin Alexander offers wholesale halloween costume in all different silhouettes, necklines, and colors. Keira Knightley and Sofia Vergara.

So we thought we'd play the fashion world's version of gambling, and place our bets on the new runway looks that we predict will be reappearing down the aisles of the next celebrity nuptials.

Ready for a game of bridal runway roulette?

We'll start with Biel, who was caught stepping out of designer Elie Saab's atelier in Paris last week, causing many to consider Saab a safe bet for the designer of the wedding dress the actress will wear to wed Timberlake this weekend. Sure enough, we spotted some wedding-worthy white dresses at Saab's Spring 2013 ready-to-wear runway show in Paris earlier this month,Wedding gowns and www.cheaphotcostume.com by Alexia Designs. including one that has “Jessica Biel” written all over it.

Next, we'll move on to what we thought would be an easy bride to dress — Brad Pitt's bride-to-be,The Lissa's short wedding dresses We started to do wedding dresses business on 2003 year. who has remained loyal to the elegant personal style she adopted around the same time she took over as Pitt's other hal.

To fit Jolie's sultry spin on old-Hollywood glamour, we looked for a dress that embodied the same timeless elegance — with a sexy twist, of course — as the gowns Jolie gravitates toward on the red carpet. Amsale offered the perfect mix of sexy sophistication for the mom-of-six. Keep reading to check it out.

For Pitt's former bride, we wanted a style that read: effortless elegance. The trouble is, the motto of this season's bridal runways was “go big or go home,” with an abundance of feminine embellishments decorating dramatic white and ivory confections, which made finding the perfect no-frills dress for Justin Theroux's bride a challenge. Ultimately,Are you going to buy a fashion and beautiful evening dresses from china? though, we found “the one” for Jen to wear from a classic designer we've been a fan of for years.

What will the rest of Hollywood's soon-to-be-wed stars wear to exchange vows? You'll have to check out the gallery to see the wedding gowns we placed our bets on.

Even if there aren't wedding bells in your future (at least not anytime soon), we've rounded up plenty of wedding dress eye candy from Bridal Market Fall 2012 (because who doesn't love looking at dream-worthy wedding dresses?).

Get ready for not one, but TWO, fairy tale weddings ‘Gossip Girl' fans! It looks like both Blair and Serena will be walking down the aisle — but which dress do you really love? After years of drama, hooking up, breakups and of course, fashion, Gossip Girl is finally coming to an end — but luckily the gals will be getting their happily-ever-after endings! The cast was spotted filming the final episode on Oct. 15 and 16 in NYC. From the looks of it, Chuck and Blair and Serena and Dan are tying the knot. Blair (Leighton Meester) was spotted in a beautiful blue gown at what appears to be a wedding in Central Park. Blair looks so beautiful and has us seeing blue for sure.

A new exhibition is hailing the fashion sense of Katharine Hepburn, whose trademark khakis and open-collar shirts were decidedly unconventional in the 1930s and 40s, when girdles and stockings were the order of the day.

The fiercely independent Hepburn famously once said: "Anytime I hear a man say he prefers a woman in a skirt, I say, 'Try one. From the red carpet to the runway, onbridals are everywhere this season. Try a skirt.'"

But skirts and dresses abound in "Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen" at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, which opens Thursday.

Hepburn, who died in 2003 at age 96, saved almost all the costumes from her long career that included four Oscars and such memorable films as "The Philadelphia Story," "The African Queen," "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" and "On Golden Pond." Forty are on view at the exhibition,Justin Alexander offers wholesale halloween costume in all different silhouettes, necklines, and colors. which runs through Jan. 12.

One of the first things visitors will notice is how slender Hepburn was _ she had a 20-inch waist _ and a grouping of seven khaki pants artfully arranged on a pair of mannequin legs.

"The fact that she wore slacks and wanted to be comfortable influenced women's ready-to-wear in the United States," said Jean Druesedow, director of the Kent State University Museum, which was given 700 items from Hepburn's estate. Kent State was selected because it's one of the country's only museums of performance clothes.

"That image said to the American woman 'Look you don't have to be in your girdle and stockings and tight dress. You can be comfortable. That was probably the first aspect of becoming a fashion icon," said Druesedow, a co-curator of the exhibition.

The strong-willed actress known for taking charge of her career worked closely with all her designers to decide her performing wardrobe.

"They understood what would help her characters, what she would feel comfortable wearing ... how it would support the story," Druesedow said.

Margaret Furse, an English designer who created Hepburn's wardrobes for "The Lion in Winter," "A Delicate Balance" and "Love Among the Ruins," went shopping with the star and talked extensively about what kinds of things would set the scene.

Among the highlights is a stunning satin and lace wedding gown created by Howard Greer for her role as Stella Surrege in "The Lake." The 1933 production was her first major Broadway role and also a huge flop. Writer and wit Dorothy Parker described her performance as running "the gamut of emotion from A to B." The experience taught Hepburn to have a bigger say in what roles she accepted, said Barbara Cohen-Stratyner, curator of exhibitions at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.

When she really liked a costume she had copies made for herself, sometimes in a different color or fabric. A silk dress and coat by Norman Hartnell from "Suddenly, Last Summer" and a green raw silk jumpsuit by Valentina from "The Philadelphia Story" were among the pieces she had copied.

Comfort was paramount to Hepburn _ being able to throw her leg over a chair or sit on the floor. She always wore her 'uniform' _ khakis and a shirt _ to rehearsals and pant ensembles to publicity appearances.

A companion book, "Katharine Hepburn: Rebel Chic,Justin Alexander's 2012 Vintage Wedding Dresses are the epitome of sophisticated and affordable elegance." describes how RKO executives hid Hepburn's trousers in an effort to persuade her to abandon them.

"Her response was to threaten to walk around the lot naked.Discover Jovani's collection of short dresses and flirty cheaphotcostume. Though she only stripped down as far as her silk underwear before stepping out of her dressing room, she made her point _ and she got her trousers back," fashion writer Nancy MacDonell wrote in an essay for the book.

But comfort didn't mean sacrificing style _ and she certainly knew how to be glamorous especially when a role called for it.

In her private life, she shopped at the major cutting-edge New York couturiers and worked with the best costume shops of the period, including Muriel King and Valentina, said Cohen-Stratyner.

"She really appreciated good fabric and good construction," she said. "Even her trousers are couture."

The exhibition is supplemented by film clips, movie posters, and archival photographs of Hepburn wearing the very costumes worn by the mannequins. Her false eyelashes, makeup trays and sensible shoes are also on display.

Fashion and flair was the order of the day at Montego Bay's first Jamaica Bridal Expo held at the Montego Bay Convention Centre, Rose Hall, last weekend.

During the well-attended event, several wedding planning businesses came out to show what they had to offer from wedding dresses, honeymoons, lighting,Discount swim bikini for pregnant bride, We provide best maternity bridal gowns. decor, reception venues and more. Patrons, many of whom are soon-to-be brides,Discover Jovani's collection of short dresses and flirty cheaphotcostume. anxiously walked from one booth to the next to see if there was anything that would suit their wedding day needs. From the red carpet to the runway, onbridals are everywhere this season.

Minister of Tourism and Entertainment Wykeham McNeill who officially opened the exposition, lauded the event for its quality and congratulated all the exhibitors.

"Walking in here today I was amazed at the quality of the exhibitions that are here, and it shows the calibre of what Jamaica has to offer. Jamaica is a perfect destination for weddings and it is a very strong market," he stressed.

Shanieka Moodie who hopes to get married in the near future, told the Observer West that she has learned a lot from the bridal expo.

"The Bridal Expo has been an eye-opening experience I have seen a lot of things that I may be interested in. Everything looks beautiful. The only thing that is missing for me is the food from the hotels that offer weddings and from caterers," she said.A fabulous selection of wedding dresses with sleeves and plus size bridesmaid dresses.

"Food is a very important element to any wedding and I would have liked to have tried some samples of menus from caterers. Otherwise, all the other areas were covered".

And Merl Walker believes that the event was well put together.

"Its been a great day so far. I love the creativity behind each display. I definitely enjoyed the fashion show as well, that was a nice touch," she said.

During the fashion show, the scores of patrons in attendance could not contain themselves as their favourite dress made its way down the catwalk. Patrons were also able to sample wines and champagne courtesy of Wray and Nephew and Appleton Jamaica Rum, while chocolate lovers were able to indulge in sweet treats from the Mobay Chocolate Company.

The two -day event which was staged by private interests, with the backing of the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB), attracted approximately 80 exhibitors.

On the November 4 episode of Revenge, Conrad and Victoria will tie the knot once again.

The event will be decadent, but as we know with the Graysons, it's always an "Illusion."

Having already shown you Victoria's wedding dress, we've now posted 30 more images from the episode, which brings the whole cast together for an event that promises drama, intrigue, scandal and mind-altering plot twists.

Even by Revenge standards! Here's one particularly buzz-worthy shot:

When I first met my in-laws, like many people, I was apprehensive about what to expect. Would we get on? Would they like me? Would I like them?

The added complication in my case,New Sexy Nurse Costume features a snap front mini nurse dress with ruffled hem is that my parents-in-law are Russian. Through and through. They live in Moscow. They speak no English. They never will.

In many ways it's a bit of a Godsend – all I have to do when we visit them is smile sweetly and have my other half translate my ramblings about where I live, what I do for a living and when I expect to have children (their favourite topic) into fluent Russian prose without the ums and ahs. I come across looking like a saint.

Best of all,Internet Sheath Wedding Dresses Socks and Boxers. the three of them can talk about my life, my job, the fact I'm leaving it too late to have children, et cetera, and before they know it, they become bored of that – quite rightly – and move onto something else. Not being able to speak their language is an excellent excuse for avoiding the spotlight.

The flipside of this is that I can rarely join in with all the good bits of conversation. I miss the intricacy of being able to talk to them like I would my own parents. I miss the nuances between Russian and English cultures and am left with stark, obvious differences like the fact they eat cow's tongue for breakfast and think it's weird I want porridge.

They meet me at the airport in the depths of the Russian winter asking why I'm not wearing a thicker coat, better boots – not asking me how I am or how the flight was. Their way of caring about me is totally different to my parents.

Nothing was so obviously different between the two cultures than what I experienced in the run-up to my wedding two months ago. The divide is still there today when I visit them.

It started about a year ago, when I decided I would lose weight for my Big Day. It's a cliché and completely stereotypical,FOR allegedly being in possession of Uniforms & Others military accoutrements. I know, that brides-to-be become obsessed with losing weight for their wedding day. I was one of those brides, I'm slightly embarrassed to admit. (I'd much rather say I didn't give a shite about what I looked like in my wedding dress, that all that matters is how I feel inside, blah blah. But alas, I am too vain).

I was fed up that I couldn't do my jeans up anymore. I had put weight on. So I decided to trim down and tone up for my wedding dress. In the space of a few months' worth of hard training, treadmills and eating five a day, I shed the puppy fat and lost over a stone and a half. I did it sensibly and maintained the new weight with healthy eating and a good regime.

Most importantly, I felt as confident in my body as I had ever felt. Months of hard work had paid off. My friends, my (English) mum, loads of work mates – everyone was saying I looked in great shape. It was a lovely feeling and I was ready for the Big Day.

Then the Russian in-laws arrived in town. We met them at the airport. As with Cops & Robbers, prisoners can be freed by tagging them in the base. They looked worried. The first thing they said to me? “You need to put some weight on. A good wife is a fat wife.”

I've heard it several times in many guises since: “A good woman is a fat woman; you need to put weight on; you haven't put weight on yet…” Every time I visit now they insist on feeding me the fattiest cuts of meats, cheesecake at bedtime and scoops of cooking oil with every vegetable. "We've got to fatten you up," they cry.

You cannot win. What is considered healthy in England is unhealthy in Russia. What is seen as ‘slim' over here translates into skinny and scrawny over there; unable to bear children; unable to look after the Russian husband.

It made me think about what – and who - you do things in life for. I am glad I lost the weight: I feel healthier and that makes me happier. But there is a line to be drawn between losing weight to become healthier, and obsessing about being stick thin to fulfil dark desires of looking like a size 0 model.

Luckily I know I do not fall into the latter category. Me and size 0 are a loooong way off and I don't want to look like that anyway.

But it's a warning to girls like me everywhere: only do things you want to do for the right reasons. Don't feel pressured into losing weight just because ‘society' says so – a few thousands miles East and ‘society' sees things a whole lot differently.

Designer Rachel Alvia and her husband,Makin' Waves Sexy Sailor Costumes features a stretch knit dress with contrast piping. Ted Alvia, hold the grand opening for the first retail location of their custom wedding dress business, Avail & Company, on Wednesday in downtown Evanston.

When Rachel and Ted Alvia visited 1106 Davis St. in Evanston, they knew immediately that it was the perfect location for their custom wedding dress business.

The married couple had visited several properties in Chicago and one other location in Evanston before they toured the former site of Fleebags, a store that sold oilcloth bags.

Looking inside, Rachel could finally imagine a showcase for Avail & Company, the wedding dress business she’s been running out of her home along with her husband, Ted, since 2005.

“I can actually see it in my mind,” she recalls thinking.

Just a few months later, she and Ted have moved from their home in Poplar Grove to Rogers Park, and a grand opening is scheduled for this Wednesday evening at Avail & Company. Ted and Rachel chose the name Avail because it means “of service,” and is composed of the letters of their last name, rearranged.

Although retail store has yet to officially open, the Alvias are already seeing customers by appointment inside the high-ceilinged space, where white and ivory dresses hang from the pale grey walls and a tall, white lace curtain adorns the floor-to-ceiling front window.

“We didn’t actually want a storefront at first,” Rachel admits. She and Ted simply wanted to find a physical location outside their home where she could make her dresses, and, also offer a space for customers to come for fittings. But as they toured more and more sites, they realized they wanted a storefront retail location.

“It’s just a different feeling when we see people walking and they stop in,” says Ted.

Growing up in an artsy family, Rachel enjoyed sewing but always imagined she would become a teacher. Then a friend asked Rachel to sew her homecoming dress—and the experience changed her mind about teaching.

Rachel went on to obtain a degree in fashion design from the Illinois Institute of Art at Chicago. Although she also designs bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dresses and other special occasion attire, Rachel says wedding dresses are her passion for a reason.

“It’s the most memorable garment that a woman will ever wear,” she says. “And for the girls I work with, it’s really an expression of personality.”

She has designed steampunk wedding dresses, medieval wedding dresses, dresses covered in detailed embroidery and showstopper ball gowns with yard upon yard of fabric. Although she plans to design a signature collection of dresses to coincide with the opening of Avail & Company’s physical location, Rachel says she enjoys working one on with customers the most.

“I have a hard time designing unless I have somebody to design for,” she says. “I draw my inspiration from the person I’m working with.”

Typically, Rachel meets or e-mails with a customer, then creates sketches that she puts on a private website and shares with the bride. We have a huge variety of Mermaid Wedding Dresses to buy in stock! She and her client talk back and forth about the dress, selecting color swatches and tweaking the final design. The whole process takes six to nine months, and each dress involves 20 to 50 hours of work, according to Rachel.High Cosplay/Uniform Costume for kids, adult and plus-size in Halloween & Cosplay Events with deep discounts. Eventually,Bold and Beautiful School Girl Costume for Women and Teenagers for Parties. her client comes in for a final fitting or tries the dress on at home if she lives far away.

“Even when you see it on a hanger, it really doesn’t do anything until it’s on a person,” says Ted.

Having a physical location also gives customers the opportunity to try on other dresses while they’re at the store—and that has its own rewards, as the Alvias have discovered. Recently, one client flew to Chicago from Arizona along with her family, planning to commission a dress from Rachel. But when she arrived, one of the dresses on the rack of samples caught her eye.

Called “Love’s Affinity On Horizon,” the dress is made from strips of white and peach-colored fabric layered in narrow ruffles to look like a sunrise. Rachel originally made the dress for a gallery show in Springfield that featured works by creative families. Her grandmother’s fashion illustrations, her mother’s watercolors and her sister’s ceramics were also on display.

The bride loved the dress at first glance, and when she tried it on, it ended up fitting her perfectly. Now it hangs in plastic in Rachel’s shop, ready for shipping to the Arizona.

“She just loved that it had a story behind it,” Rachel explains.

In contrast to the cluster of high-end wedding shops on Oak Street in downtown Chicago, Avail and Company is one of only two wedding stores in Evanston (the other is Dame Couture, 1804 Central St., which also makes custom dresses). But Rachel says she never considered locating her boutique downtown.

n Apartment 23 has a good thing going with her boyfriend, the Hurt Locker and True Blood actor Brian Geraghty, and doesn't see the need to walk down the aisle anytime soon.

"I was never the little girl who dreamed about a wedding or a big white dress," Ritter, 30, tells Playboy's November issue.Buy from a huge selection of Sexy Jewelry via Paypal. "I don't think I'm sour on marriage. I just don't know if I'm the type."

"Marriage seems scary to me," she adds. "I'm in a serious relationship. We have a dog together. We live five minutes from each other. It's heaven. I think that might be the key: separate houses, separate bank accounts.Celebrate the holidays with our fun, affordable Christmas Costume. Why mess with that?"

She and Geraghty are a study in contrasts, at least looks-wise. "My boyfriend is a character actor. He can hide," Ritter says. "But I'm a cartoon character. We offer mermaid mother of bride dresses 2012, which quality are guaranteed. I have black bangs. I can't hide."

People also find her unexpectedly tall, though she's only 5-foot-9. "When I met my boyfriend, he knew me only from watching me on Breaking Bad. I was wearing heels when I met him, and he was like, 'Oh, wow. You're really tall.' We have a thing: If we're going to a party for me, I can wear big heels. And if we're going to a party for him, I wear the small heels."

Geraghty is certainly a step up from her earliest boyfriend, the guy to whom Ritter lost her virginity. "He was so angsty and bad. He was a real bad boy," she recalls. "His name was Damian, but my parents called him Demon. Our first time was in his parents' van before basketball practice. I don't remember it being very pleasant."

Ritter, who grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania – she had a pet calf, and they "took naps together and snuggled" – first broke through in the modeling world, and has some war stories to tell from those times.

"I lived with eight to 10 girls in the modeling agency's two-bedroom apartment, sleeping in bunk beds," she says. "We'd go out and drink cosmos and dance on tables. But no sex with rappers or cocaine or eating disorders."

She did have a conflict with one girl, who complained to the agency about Ritter playing the piano too late. "I got in trouble for that," says Ritter. "So I put roaches in her bed. You don't f--- with a girl's livelihood."

Set a reminder in your iPhone and cancel any midday meetings you have tomorrow. Because the iconic Issa design that the Duchess of Cambridge wore in November 2010 when she and Prince William announced that they’d be getting hitched will be available to purchase from TheOutnet.com in red starting Thursday at 12 p.m.

Like many brides to be, Anita Chakraburtty is busy planning her Sydney wedding next April. What sets her apart is that she doesn't have a boyfriend, let alone a fiance. But she is convinced she will find a husband before the wedding day.

“It's all in the stars so I'm 100 per cent sure it will happen,” she says.

Chakraburtty is part of a new trend of would-be brides or "single bridezillas" for whom planning their big day does not require a proposal from the man of their dreams.

As a professional astrologer, the British-born Chakraburtty, 42, says she is destined to meet her future husband any day now. From the red carpet to the runway, onbridals are everywhere this season.

“Astrologically I've got quite a lot of activity happening in October and November in my charts,” she says. She picked the date of the wedding, April 7, 2013, because it has once-in-a-lifetime planetary alignments favouring relationships, she says, and also happens to be her birthday.

“I've got a red dress because I'm Aries, a fire sign, and I've also bought shoes with diamante on them – and diamond is the birthstone of Aries," she says. "And a friend is making a chilli chocolate wedding cake.”

Chakraburtty, who has lived in Coogee for six years, wants to get married on a hill there, followed by a beach barbecue. Friends and family are planning to come over from Britain for the wedding “but they've told me they aren't going to book tickets until I at least start dating”.

Chakraburtty, who also works as a naturopath, believes the universe is backing her choice of wedding date. She was a first-time bridesmaid at a friend's wedding recently and caught the bouquet.

“There are all these signs from the universe, milestones for me to say 'yes, you're on track'. I really, really know that I will get married on this day and I'm going to meet a brilliant guy in the next few months,” she says. "I've got so much love to offer someone."

Mostly single for nine years, she denies she is a wedding obsessive. “I was never this little girl who always wanted to be married and have a big dress. I've got a Masters in Chemistry and I was the head of risk in a bank in the UK so I've come from a very masculine education and career. I'm like one of the boys.”

She is not the only bride to want to put the dress before the diamond. With Australian brides getting married later – 50 per cent of them tie the knot between 25 and 29 – women have longer to think and plan their dream wedding.

The stakes are getting higher, too. In a wedding industry worth $4.Discount swim bikini for pregnant bride, We provide best maternity bridal gowns.4 billion a year, competition among companies for a slice of the wedding cake is high. The average wedding now costs about $37,000, according to recent figures from IbisWorld. That is likely to induce wedding planning anxiety in even the most laid-back couples.

Kat Richter, a 27-year-old writer from Philadelphia in the US, is hoping to be married by the time she is 30. After living in London for two years, she returned home to find that all her friends, including her high school sweetheart, had tied the knot.

“I treated myself to a three-month subscription to Match.com for my 25th birthday and set out to date 30 men in three months. It ended up taking me a year but I achieved my goal,” says Richter, who wrote about her dating adventures on her blog Fieldwork in Stilettos.Short Wedding DressesShort Wedding Dresses

Richter now has a boyfriend she has been dating for just under a year but is still waiting for a marriage proposal.

That has not deterred her from making a few wedding plans. She has two dresses for the occasion. “I inherited the first from my paternal grandmother. It's vintage 1940s satin, with long sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. I love it but it's a bit heavy and too cumbersome for dancing so I purchased a second gown for $12. It has cap sleeves and is much less restrictive so I plan on wearing my grandmother's gown for the ceremony and changing into the second gown for the reception.Wedding gowns and www.cheaphotcostume.com by Alexia Designs.”

Richter has also decided on the flowers, invitations and even the first wedding dance. She thinks being labelled a “single bridezilla” is silly.

“To me, a real bridezilla is someone who ends up going crazy in the weeks leading up to her wedding because they haven't planned well enough from the start. I am a perfectionist and I'm a very creative person so I have very specific ideas about how I want things to look but I don't want to spend a fortune and I don't want to make myself or anyone else crazy. So I figure if I start planning now, I'll be less stressed out in the long run.”

Why are so many highly educated and financially independent single women focused on planning their perfect wedding before they have received a proposal?

“Some people are dreamers,” clinical psychologist Jo Lamble says. “They have intense fantasy lives. Some dream of the perfect wedding. Others dream of fame and fortune. There's nothing wrong with having a good fantasy life as long as you keep your expectations realistic because otherwise there is the danger of life never living up to reality.”

As well as secretly planning their nuptial fantasies on wedding sites, forums and content-sharing sites such as Pinterest, would-be brides can seek emotional support anonymously online. At the wedding planning website TheKnot.com, the Not Engaged Yet forum is buzzing with wannabe brides at screaming point with frustration waiting for the ring.

“I know what I'd like the engagement ring to look like and have a wedding dress already," one hopeful says. "I'm becoming obsessed with looking at rings and just want to get engaged. If anyone can help me learn some patience/put things into perspective, I'd appreciate it.”

Lamble warns how obsessing about the perfect wedding can backfire. “Problems arise in relationships where the woman is fantasising about the perfect wedding and the guy is feeling the pressure to be the perfect partner by organising a unique way to propose and being able to help pay for the planned extravaganza.

Victoria Pendleton: 'I've Already Picked Out My Wedding Dress Designer!' The Olympian On Tying The Knot, Crying And Strictly

We cried with her on the podium as she clutched her gold medal at the Olympics – we were almost reaching for the tissues again after her first appearance on Strictly Come Dancing. Victoria Pendleton has come a long way this summer – not only retiring from her first and lifetime love of cycling and swapping her helmet for heels, but slipping effortlessly further into the public eye than she's ever been.

It can't be easy – and, despite throwing herself into training for more than 30 hours per week – she's bravely admitted that, er, it really isn't. But will those pesky spot-turns get in her way? Will they heck. 'I was so annoyed with myself,' Victoria admitted when Grazia caught up with her at Cyletta, UK's leader for women only sponsored bike rides,Justin Alexander offers wholesale halloween costume in all different silhouettes, necklines, and colors. last week - pick up this week's issue for more of our exclusive chat. 'But I'm not embarrassed about coming across as emotional or vulnerable at times. I'm proud that I can make people feel like I'm real.'

But has she had moments when she wishes she was still in the velodrome, not the ballroom? 'Retiring is daunting,' she says. 'I have had moments of doubt thinking have I done the right thing? It's crazy because I know that physically I know I could continue for another four years but it would be hard to manage my injuries. Also, I've been doing the same thing all my life, and I want to do something different.'

nd since making that decision, things have been incredibly different for Victoria. Her autobiography, detailing harrowing details of her battle with self-harm, was released and instead of a rigorous training regime, she's been thrown into Strictly and doing the charity work with Cycletta that she loves – and, let's not forget, she's got a wedding to focus on.

'I've already picked out my wedding dress designer,' she says, excitedly. 'I'm going to go with Suzanne Neville, who has got a shop in Wilmslow which I've cycled past so many times and I've always thought, “Wow!”. I look at the dresses in the window and they're just so beautiful; I've spoken to her directly.short wedding dressesshort wedding dressesDiscover Jovani's collection of short dresses and flirty cheaphotcostume.
